Hi my name is Stuart Hoy. Stu (stoi to some) to my friends, Amor to my wife and Papi to my boys. In 2008 i began a journey that i called LIFESTRUCK.

The concept was borne from a drive to find more and be more. To find a sense of self that I wasn’t getting. A belief. My journey was one of physical transformation loosing weight and journeying to and beyond Ironman (AN uktra triathalon involving 3.8km swim, 180km bike and a 42.2km marathon – in one day) It changed me, loosing weight and gaining confidence and on the way it began to inspire others to do the same.

It quickly became my fultime “job” and that change it. It became work. An my body started to hurt.  At the same time i met my Fabiana, our boys were born and life evolved. LIFETRUCK has always been lying patiently in the background.

I have always loved bikes. It was my escape when i was young.  Escape from and escape to … its hot outside, let’s for ride. Its raining outside, lets go ride. At age 13 i managed to convince my teacher that in our school play that as Jospeh (and his technicolour dream coat) that I should ride a motorbike and not a camel.

Enter my friend Templar Wales. My dad often said in life you only need 5 good people. He is one of those 5. Probably one of the smartest people i know. He likes bikes. (Important) We have the same homour and values and most importantly we love the idea of riding our bikes for whatever reason we can. (Important-er) – The reason became apparent with entries to Budapest-Bamako.

“What if we restarted LIFESTRUCK man?” – The intention here is to adventure. To share it. To share the reality that we can all do these things and we all should. With all of whom we are.

It is our intent that we do exactly that.  So here’s to the rebirth of LIFESTRUCK as LIFESTRUCK.me
